CHELAN — A 15-year-old Manson boy was flown to a Seattle trauma center Tuesday night after he was thrown from a golf cart and showed signs of a possible skull fracture, authorities said.
Cody Lolos was in satisfactory condition at Harborview Medical Center this morning, a hospital spokeswoman said.
He was riding in a golf cart with a friend at the Lake Chelan Municipal Golf Course, when the friend drove down a steep hill near the 18th hole and turned left, causing Lolos to fall out of the cart, said Jerry Moore, chief of administration for the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office.
Moore said Lolos felt achy and had abrasions on his right shoulder, arm and right ear.
He said his parents, Steve and Theresa Lolos, came to the golf course to pick him up, and he told his father he couldn’t remember falling out, so his father took him to the Lake Chelan Community Hospital.
The hospital then called the sheriff’s office at about 9:20 p.m. after deciding to fly him to Harborview due to his head injuries.
